One in a Bullion collects only the personal information necessary to process and fulfill your order, communicate with you about that order, and meet our legal obligations as a precious metals dealer.

We do not use advertising pixels, behavioral tracking tools, or third-party retargeting services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with marketers or data brokers. We have no interest in doing so.

This policy is written to be straightforward. If you have questions, contact us directly.

We collect only what is needed to serve you and comply with the law:

• Contact details: name, shipping and billing address, phone number, and email address, used to process and deliver your order and communicate with you about it.
• Payment information: card type, last four digits, and billing zip. Full card numbers are never stored by us; payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
• Transaction history: items purchased, order status, and returns, used to fulfill orders, process returns, and maintain accurate records.
• Identity verification data: government-issued ID and date of birth, collected only where required under federal anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
• Basic site interaction data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically by Shopify to operate the storefront. This data is not used for advertising or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Fulfilling your order: processing payment, arranging shipment, handling returns and exchanges.
• Communicating with you: order confirmations, shipping notifications, and responses to your inquiries.
• Maintaining your account: if you create one, to store your preferences and order history.
• Legal and regulatory compliance: We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.

As a precious metals dealer, One in a Bullion may be subject to federal anti-money laundering regulations under the Bank Secrecy Act and FinCEN guidance. For certain transactions, we may be legally required to collect and verify government-issued identification, record identifying information, file Currency Transaction Reports, file Suspicious Activity Reports, and retain transaction and identity records for a minimum of five years as required by federal law.

Information collected for AML/BSA compliance is used solely for regulatory purposes. It is not used for marketing and cannot be deleted prior to the expiration of the applicable statutory retention period, regardless of a deletion request.

We may also be required to file IRS Form 1099-B for certain precious metals transactions above applicable reporting thresholds.

We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms. Period.

Limited disclosure occurs only where necessary, including Shopify, shipping carriers, payment processors, grading and authentication services when specifically requested, law enforcement or regulators when legally required, and business transfers if the business is sold, merged, or acquired.

We built this store on Shopify's platform. Like any e-commerce platform, Shopify processes the technical data necessary to run the storefront things like serving pages, handling checkout, and preventing fraud. This is infrastructure, not a separate data relationship. Our commitments in this policy still govern how your information is collected and used. Our storefront uses only the cookies necessary to operate. Session management, cart state, and fraud prevention cookies are set by Shopify and are required for the site to function.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. You can disable cookies in your browser, though doing so may affect checkout functionality.

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion subject to legal retention obligations, receive a portable copy of your personal information, and opt out of promotional communications.

The Services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

• Order and account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support dispute resolution.
• AML/BSA compliance records: retained for a minimum of five years as required by federal law.
• All other data: deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you reside, including by Shopify and its sub-processors. Where transfers occur from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, they are conducted under appropriate legal mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by applicable law. Continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
